Like a lot of people, it took a little courage to sign up for a writing class. It’s so easy for writing to be a thing that gets shoved in the shadows, but the Writing With Grace course was such an encouragement to take writing seriously, to consider it a calling, and approach with faith and gratitude. Ann’s gift of teaching shone through clearly as she shared both technical skills and spiritual wisdom. To be on the receiving end of such giftedness and God-centered encouragement was a great gift!

This course is for the Christian writer who wants to take her writing to the next level of excellence, beauty, and power.
It is for the person who loves words and is looking to practically grow as a storyteller and truth-teller, and who wants to learn about the publishing industry from the inside-out.
You do not need to be a Christian to take this course. However, Ann is a Christian and talks openly and consistently about her faith in Jesus and how that impacts the writing life. If that will make you uncomfortable, Writing with Grace probably isn’t the right course for you.
If you’re willing to work, definitely! The Writing with Grace Advanced Writing Workshop is a wonderful place to dive in if you know you’re supposed to share about what the Lord has done in your life but you’ve got cold feet. It can feel intimidating to share our stories on the page and send it out into the world, especially if we aren’t confident about our writing skills. But if you’ve been feeling that nudge from the Lord, don’t hold back any longer—obey! In this workshop, Ann will break down the components of writing into powerful, clear steps. You’ll leave equipped to write with more precision, purpose, and direction moving forward!
We won't sugarcoat it--writing is hard work! But it's the best kind of hard work, and the payoff of sharing your words with others is a gift.
This is a recorded class that will enable you to watch and re-watch the course as many times as you like between now and October 31, 2025. There is also a bonus recorded Q&A with Ann that you will have access to!
First of all, way to go! Writing and sharing your work is beautiful, hard work. Ann has been writing professionally for over a fifteen years, and she knows that it’s not for the faint of heart! If you’re wanting to take your writing to the next step by growing in the technical and artistic craft of writing, this workshop is going to provide you with the insights and tools that you need to do just that. And as Ann has discovered in her years of writing, there’s always new ways to grow, because good writing is a foot wide but a mile deep. In this workshop, Ann will help you take your words and story to the next level as you grow in your skill as a writer.
